SURI: Journal of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines aims to publish scholarly works in order to expand the frontiers of philosophical discourse in the Philippines.  The journal is dedicated to the exposition of latest developments in philosophy, the critical review and revitalization of traditional forms of philosophizing, and the effort to develop Filipino philosophy by fostering rational dialogue among scholars from different institutions and intellectual persuasions.

The word "suri" in Filipino denotes analysis, diagnosis, scrutiny or careful inspection, study or investigation, circumspection, deliberation, review, criticism, test or examination.

The journal publishes the papers of the members of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines (PAP) that are collected from the association's various conferences and workshops, as well as exceptional articles from non-members and the works of invited authors.  SURI is a refereed journal.  All manuscripts are reviewed by the editor and anonymous referees who are experts in their own fields.  Contributions may be in the form of scholarly articles, review articles, and book reviews.

SURI is published twice a year, in April and October.
